Frank over at OpTempo.com has released another useful tool for his fellow bloggers, called BMDBuddy, which is of course short for BookMarking Demon Buddy, as a companion tool for BookMarking Demon. As you are aware by now, BookMarking Demon is a program used to help you build links using social networking sites and Scuttle bookmarking sites. The problems with this is that you want to bookmark URLs other than your own so that you are not seen as bookmarking only your URLs.
So what to do? Why, you bookmark other URLs in the same run, of course. This helps even out the perceptions and keep you safely under the radar. You don't want to bookmark other high-level URLs that won't mesh well with your own deep links, as that will raise eyebrows. You want a similar assortment of deep linked articles. You could simply keep a list of the interesting articles you seen in a given day or week, but that's time consuming and takes extra effort. And there's where BMDBuddy comes into play.
BMDBuddy takes your list of links, and then using the same RSS feeds as Link Luv Post Builder, will select a random number of links to blend your intended links into, thus camouflaging the operation. You can then save this list as a text file. When you open up BookMarking Demon, you can select "Load TXT" on the "Bookmark URL" tab and voila! Much work saved.
Being the wonderful guy Frank is, he's actually released BMDBuddy as donationware, so it's free to download and use. He reccommends a donation of $17 but isn't insistent, though for those who donate that or more he throws in a bonus pack of PLR articles and site templates as well.
